Paule is pushing 50, as she repeatedly observes in her voice-over commentary. When she – a philosophy lecturer with a 10-year marriage and a 15-year-old daughter – learns that her husband is having an affair with a 28-year-old, this number takes on a special weight. Instead of experiencing an emotional breakdown, she skeptically signs up for an Internet dating service hoping to find a new love and forget her troubles for a while. Before long, she is having passionate affairs with a wide variety of different men, but is still on a quest for mister right. With quirky humor and wit, Paule explores a vast jungle of men, and discovers that maybe the chase itself is the real prize.
