Widows will tell the story that begins when a Elena (Graciela Borges), a renowned documentary filmmaker, receives a call that tells about the terrible accident suffered by her husband. In desperation, the lady comes to the scene and found her husband dying in the arms of a much younger woman. Her husband, on the verge of dying, asks to look after her. Elena's not interested in comforting the distraught much-younger woman, yet she's ultimately forced to take her into her home after Adela tries slitting her wrists.
