Take a trip back to a time when Blitz was the king of beers and the Marlboro Man galloped across the countryside with a cigarette proudly hanging from his mouth in this collection of television commercials, public service announcements, and other assorted small screen oddities from the 1970s. After you camp it up with the genuine article, look back at the past through more modern sensibilities, as six media collage artists remix found footage from the 1970s into a series of short decidedly warped short films that will change the way you look at the past.
The clips on this DVD were found in a dumpster in Portland, Oregon. There are a few legendary pieces, like the old pollution PSA with the crying Indian, but the majority of them are ones you've likely never seen before, culled from the early '70s, including some regional ads that probably were never seen outside of the Pacific Northwest. It's these unknown gems that make this disc so enjoyable.
