Faust Sonnengesang is the journey of a German poet of today who starts where Goethe's Faust ends. Fritsch asks "What film runs through the head of a human when they close their eyes forever?" Filmed all over the world in India, California, Egypt, New York, Germany, Norway, Nepal, Mexico and New Zealand, where he shot images during his previous stay in Christchurch and the South Island.
