A prostitute sends the money she earned to the village priest, to keep it for her. Unfortunately the pastor dies, and his successor uses the money found for an orphanage.
Returning to town, she is welcomed as a benefactor and barely manages to hide her disappointment for that pension fund vanished without her knowing it.
