Harassed by classmates who won't accept his shocking appearance, a shy young man known as "Powder" struggles to fit in. But the cruel taunts stop when Powder displays a mysterious power that allows him to do incredible things. This phenomenon changes the lives of all those around him in ways they never could have imagined.
Powder doesn't simply represent the awkward teenager. He represents something much more than that: evolution. The idea that we are not at our peak, but more that the human race is still an awkward teenager itself, working out what it is, who it is and dreaming about what it may be. What will we be like in a thousand years, ten thousand a hundred thousand? In the end what is normal? The truth of it is that there is no normal. Powder is an underrated movie that reminds us of that by showing us what we could become.
